B 公元的纪年
在读或写公元的纪年时，用 hundred 作单位而不用 thousand。
1987年可读做 nineteen hundred and eighty-seven 或略去 hundred 而读做 nineteen eighty-seven。
在公元前的纪年后面加BC（= Before Christ 基督降生前）。公元以后的纪年有时可以在前面加上 AD（= Anno Domini，inthe year of the Lord 耶稣纪元或公元）。一般读法有两种：1500 BC 可读做 one thousand five hundred BC 或 fifteen hundred BC。 |
